The following information is intended to provide you with important policies & services available to you during your stay.
HOUSING
CHECK-IN
Upon check-in, you will receive your room key, a summer guest access card, a dining card, & a lanyard. Please keep your room key & access card secured on your lanyard at all times.
PRIOR TO CHECK-OUT
Remove all personal belongings from your room. Double-check all storage spaces, turn off the lights, and remove linens from the bed, pillow & bathroom. Please place any dirty linens & towels inside the pillowcase. Leave your linens in your room.
CHECK-OUT
Please check-out out your scheduled departure day & time. Late checkouts may result in additional fees. To check out, please return your key, access card, & dining card to Conference & Event Services Staff or your Program Director.
LOST KEYS, ACCESS CARDS & LOCKOUTS
If you get locked out of your room, contact our 24-hour guest assistance number (336.758.1755) and our team will be happy to help you. If you lose your key/access card, please notify your program director & our team within 24 hours.

HOUSEKEEPING
Rooms, Suites & Apartments will be cleaned before arrival. Common areas & hall bathrooms will be cleaned daily by the WFU Custodial Services team. You are responsible for keeping your room tidy & taking out your trash during your stay. Trash disposal is centrally located in each Residence Hall.
If you are housed in a suite or apartment, you are responsible for keeping the bathroom clean; custodial services will not enter an occupied suite or apartment.
LAUNDRY
All residence halls have a laundry room available. Detergent is not provided & there are no change machines available on campus.
ANIMALS
Pets and animals are not allowed in residential facilities. Service and Emotional Support Animals are accepted on a case-by-case basis and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Documentation will need to be provided on the letterhead of the guest’s treating physician or mental health provider prior to or upon check-in.
GUEST SAFETY & CONDUCT
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
- Call Campus Police @ 336.758.5911 or dial 911 from any university phone.
- Move to a safe place if necessary.
WHAT TO DO WHEN
We encourage you to become familiar with our Summer Safety Information. This information will include how to report an emergency on campus, emergency alert methods, fire safety information, local area health & medical facilities as well as evacuation & triage areas.
LOST OR STOLEN PROPERTY
If you should lose something during your stay or you have noticed that you left something behind after returning home, please call the Conference & Event Services team at 336.758.1755. To report the lost or stolen property to Campus Safety, please call Evidence Management at 336.758.4566.
DAMAGES & FURNITURE
Guests must respect WFU property, which includes not moving furniture, from or within sleeping rooms, study rooms, or other areas. Doing so may result in damage and/or service fees.
SMOKING*
All Wake Forest residence halls, apartments, and houses are non-smoking. This includes all interior spaces. The no-smoking policy extends 50 feet from buildings, including balconies, patios, and porches. *For purposes of this policy, smoking is defined as the burning, lighting, or use of a tobacco product and any other smoking device or equipment, including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes), hookahs, vaporizers, marijuana, and pipes.
ALCOHOL & DRUGS
Possession and/or consumption of any alcoholic beverage by anyone less than 21 years of age is a violation of state law. Possession, sale, or use of non-prescription drugs or narcotics or drug paraphernalia violates state and federal laws and the regulations of the University.
FIREARMS
Firearms, ammunition, or weapons are prohibited on any part of the campus.
GAMBLING
Gambling is against North Carolina state law and is not allowed on campus.
NOISE POLICY
The summer camp & conference environment is meant to be supportive of the academic mission and focus of the University. As such, noise or other activities that are excessively loud or bothersome to other people are strictly prohibited at any time. Please be mindful of academic classes in session & department offices throughout your stay.

PRINTING & COPYING
Printing & copying services are available at the Benson University Center.

MAIL & PACKAGES
Guests have the option of renting a post office box from campus mail services for the summer ($35.00) .
Note that mail / packages cannot be delivered directly to campus housing and all mail must filter through postal services.
If you choose to reserve a post office box, please contact Meri Silveri at silvermm@wfu.edu or 336.758.1922. We also recommend reviewing the campus mail services hours of operation to ensure the hours of availability will meet your needs.
FITNESS CENTER
Guests are welcome to utilize Reynolds Gym at the guest rate and passes can be purchased directly from campus recreation. Please visit the WFU Campus Recreation website for more information on hours and memberships.

Parking is included for all summer camp & conference guests. A parking pass for general lot parking will be provided to you upon check-in. Conference & Event Services does not provide visitor parking passes.

DINING
Dining hours & locations vary during the summer months. Each group is given a designated dining time & location to ensure expedited service for all guests. Additionally, your group may have a full or partial meal plan. If you are unsure which meals are included with your registration and/or what your designated dining times & locations are, please contact your program director.
MAINTENANCE
During your stay, should you have a non-emergency maintenance request, please submit a work order with the link below. Work orders are processed Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
